Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas led his 2d consecutive consultation of the Russian Grand Prix weekend on the Sochi Autodrom, 0.267s clean of group mate Lewis Hamilton – even as Renault’s Daniel Ricciardo accompanied up his 2d vicinity from Free Practice 1 through going 1/3 for Renault.

Bottas, who historically is going nicely on the Sochi song in which he scored his first win in 2017, stopped the clocks with a 1m 33.519s lap – over a 2d faster than he went this morning while he crowned FP1 – even as he could had been even quicker had he now no longer had a lairy off-song slide on the very last nook throughout his run.
